Wilfrid and Karmen Buttigieg opened Knight Music on The 1st November 1994.

Wilfrid is a professional guitarist and music teacher. He plays electric, acoustic, classical and pedal steel-guitar. His vision of Knight Music was to establish a business that:

• provides excellent service to customers.
• offers warranted, honest and professional after-sales service.
• is run and managed by a professional musician.

This has been successfully accomplished, as our many long-standing clients can confirm. As well as enjoying a successful musical career.

Albert Buttigieg joined Knight Music in March 1998. Prior to this date he lived in London for 25 years, where he attended various courses in both guitar and violin making. He worked as a musician and serviced musical instruments. Albert is a professional musician playing bass guitar, guitar and violin.

Marc Galea is a session guitarist, RGT Registered Tutor, and principal at the Euro Institute of Music in Hamrun. He recently launched his promotional EP of original compositions titled 'My Journey'.

Together, Wilfrid, Karmen, Albert and Marc work very hard to keep Knight Music's reputation for being the No. 1 Shop for Musical Instruments on the Maltese Islands alive.

Over these past few years Knight Music has been rapidly expanding taking on board more and more agencies. The current stock includes thousands of parts and accessories to restore, repair or customise most musical instruments. The future lies in maintaining the competitive prices, the wide variety of choice and the exacting standards of service.
